**VISION ALERT** Scrapyard Hell – Revesby

**VISION ALERT** Scrapyard Hell – Revesby

More than 80 firefighters from Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) are slowly beginning to deal with a large structure fire in Revesby in Sydney’s southwest.

Crews managed to prevent the fire from spreading to neighboring properties on Fitzpatrick Street, but the fire continues to burn in the center of the building, which houses dismantled cars and car parts.

Vehicles are stacked on top of each other, making it difficult for firefighters to reach the scene of the fire.

Specialized HAZMAT teams are working at the scene to monitor air quality, and local residents are advised to close their windows and doors until the fire is extinguished.

FRNSW monitors water runoff to minimize contaminants entering waterways.

The situation is stable, but due to difficult access, the fire is expected to continue for several hours.

All occupants were accounted for and no injuries were reported.

The incident is affecting traffic in the area during rush hour, with one westbound lane closed to emergency vehicles. Drivers are advised to avoid the area.
