Merseyside Police have warned Taylor Swift fans

Taylor Swift fans have been given a warning about their behavior ahead of her performance in Liverpool on Thursday.

Fans have been told not to camp and will only travel to the area if necessary as the city prepares to host three sold-out shows on the Eras tour.

Merseyside Police said they used a number of different tactics to keep the public safe at all times.

Ch Supt Zoe Thornton, who has been tasked with overseeing Taylor Swift’s operations, has insisted that fans “only travel during the opening hours of the concert” and warned them “not to camp out”.

She said: “We have two early entry features so the times will be staggered which should help with the problem of unnecessary queues. Our advice is to arrive only when the concert starts. But knowing the stands and seeing from the actual view of the stadium, you’ll have a really good view of Taylor Swift.”

Anfield is Taylor’s next stop(ANNUALLY)

Ch Supt Thornton added that the band was ready to accommodate any fans who tried to pitch a tent outside the famous football stadium before their shows, explaining that this had been seen at various locations on the current tour. But she insisted that local regulations state that camping in Stanley Park is prohibited.

“Don’t think you can camp, but look for suitable accommodation,” she added.

In addition, the service worked with Liverpool City Council and Liverpool Football Club to provide a clear safety and transport plan for the concerts. These plans have been developed over the past six months and urge the public to “remain vigilant and trust your instincts”.

The security measures implemented include increased police patrols around Anfield Stadium and the city centre, including at some major railway stations. This includes Liverpool Lime Street and Liverpool Central.

In other places, the roads around the stadium will be closed from noon on the day of each concert. The police will also have Project Servator servers at their disposal, consisting of officers specially trained to recognize signals that someone may be planning criminal activity.

The update comes after a man was arrested during a performance in Edinburgh over the weekend. News spread that a man had been arrested and charged with “voyeurism.”

Despite the incident, Taylor took to social media to thank everyone who was in attendance. She shared several photos from the Scottish shows and said: “Edinburgh!!! You really amazed me this weekend.

“Thank you for breaking the all-time record for attendance at a stadium in Scotland 3 times in a row and for making us feel at home. I love you, all 220,000 of you!!!”

Fans were quick to react and shared that they had spotted a major clue that the singer would be making reputation announcements during her upcoming shows in Liverpool. One Swiftie shared a tip on Twitter/X that seemingly “confirms” that Taylor will be announcing the reputation, and shared screenshots of the thank you post.

They wrote: “SCREAM CRYING OUT!!!! She followed the same pattern just before the TV announcement in 1989!!! Two posts with (see you soon emoji) and then one without and an announcement.”

How to buy Taylor Swift Eras Tour tickets

Taylor Swift fans looking for resale tickets for the upcoming Eras Tour in the UK can purchase them now from a number of online retailers.

Sites like viagogo and Vivid Seats allow fans to buy tickets from other fans. However, please note that many event organizers state that tickets should not be resold after initial purchase and will not be valid for entry to concerts.

Fans attending live events with tickets purchased from resale sites are advised to carefully check ticket terms and conditions at resale venues such as Ticketmaster or Live Nation to ensure a smooth live event experience. Tickets could be invalidated if it turns out they were bought second-hand. As a result, fans buy at their own risk.

In this regard, viagogo also commented: “viagogo is a regulated marketplace where fans can freely buy and sell tickets to their favorite live events, securely and with guarantee.”

Although the above sellers, including viagogo
and Vivid Seats are not “official” retailers, but they do have a number of strict conditions in place to ensure the safety of ticket buyers and sellers.
