A man has been convicted of a shooting that left a Loris woman dead and another person seriously injured

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WBTW) – A 34-year-old man is being held without bail in connection with a May 28 shooting that left a Loris woman dead and another person seriously injured.

Rashaud Eli Faulker, of Easterover, South Carolina, is charged with murder, attempted murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime in the shooting death of 34-year-old Brandi Lilly. Authorities said Lilly and another person were found shot inside a vehicle on Gurley Road near Highway 701 South near Loris.


According to arrest warrants, Faulkner shot Lilly and a second person with a gun. Police determined from witness statements that Faulker was the last person to be with the victims before they were shot.

Faulkner was arrested on Saturday and booked into the Detention Center. J. Reuben Long.
