ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – An Abilene daycare worker accused of possessing child pornography now faces federal charges.

Mark Eichorn has been arrested again on federal charges in connection with lewd photos of children that were allegedly found on his cell phone last month.

Court documents say Eichorn acted as a “sugar daddy” to children in another state, paying them to send lewd photos.

The Abilene Police Department states that the Department of Homeland Security Investigations and the U.S. Marshals Service have decided to re-arrest Eichorn on federal charges. A federal detention hearing will be held later this week.

Prior to his arrest, Eichorn was employed as a kindergarten teaching assistant at St. Patrick’s Episcopal School. John.
