Shelby Homicide Investigation

SHELBY, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – The La Crosse County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide. They say that today (6/24/2024) officers received a 911 call from someone on Redwood Court in the Town of Shelby. When officers arrived, they found a dead woman in the house. The suspect was arrested and transported to the La Crosse County Jail on Charge 1^street degree of intentional murder. Authorities are still investigating.

The sheriff says the names of those involved are not being released at this time. We’ll keep you updated as we learn more.
