A perpetrator of violence who raped a child in a Falkirk shelter was sentenced to 12 years in prison

A child abuser who targeted young girls during sleepovers at his Falkirk home has been jailed.

Anthony Walker raped one child and engaged in lewd, indecent and lascivious practices on all five victims between 1998 and 2007.




The children were between six and 13 years old when the abuse began.

The 61-year-old forced two girls to watch pornographic material and then touched them indecently.

Walker entered the bedroom while several of the girls were undressed and watched as one pretended to sleep.

He exposed himself to several of his victims and performed sexual acts in front of them.

On May 13, 2024, after a trial at the High Court in Stirling, he was found guilty of seven charges.
