Fulton high school student admits he grabbed one female classmate and tried to assault another on the same day

FULTON, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) – A student at G. Ray Bodley High School has admitted to police that he inappropriately touched a female classmate and attempted to sexually assault another female classmate on the same day.

A spokesperson for the Fulton Police Department says an investigation revealed that the 15-year-old suspect first forcibly touched a classmate during a class on the morning of May 13.

Later in the day, the same student is accused of bringing another female classmate into what police describe as a small room next to the gym and attempting to sexually assault her. The police indicate that there are no cameras in this area.

School administrators contacted the district school resource officer, who placed the investigation under the responsibility of other police officers.

Both victims provided information to police. According to the police spokesperson, the suspect confessed to the accusations in an interview with officers.

Due to his age, the student’s name has not been released by police. His case will be heard in Family Court, where he was arraigned on May 31.

The student is charged with forcibly touching and endangering the welfare of a child from the first incident. For the second incident, he is charged with attempted criminal sexual act, unlawful imprisonment, endangering the welfare of a child and harassment.

Brian Pulvino, superintendent of the Fulton City School District, released the following statement to his district:
