Suspect accused of seriously injuring man on Kauai bridge released on bail

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A suspect who faced trial for an assault in Kauai four years ago is now free on bail for attacking another person on the Lumahai Bridge last week.

Chance Olanolan posted $25,000 bail on Monday.

Officers dealt with the case of a 27-year-old man after a man was found in a critical condition on the Lumahai Bridge on Thursday.

Olanolan pleaded not guilty to the 2020 attack and has been free on $1,000 bail since last year.

This case will go to court in September.

The investigation is ongoing.
