Norman Reedus, star of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, confirms that the third season will be filmed in Spain. Will the title change compared to “The Book of Christmas Carols”?

When was the last time we checked in to see how it was going with AMC Norman Reedus (Daryl) i Melissa McBride (Carol) – in the main role The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon: Carol’s Book, Reedus wondered how long he thought Daryl’s journey would last, adding that “Season 3 is about to start” (and he also makes a bold claim about the season finale of The Book of Christmas Carols). He continues his press tour for his new film Bikers, Reedus had additional information that should certainly make fans speculate. At the beginning of his interview with American Rider, Reedus shares his plans to film more episodes of his travel documentaries Ride with Norman Reedus while working on the third season of “Daryl Dixon” – noting that he will be filming in Spain. Hmmm… and there’s another interesting moment when he says, “…just after the first season, or rather ‘third season’…” We put quotes around “third season” because Reedus gave it during the interview. Could we expect a third season that will have a different subtitle – similar to the addition of “The Book of Christmas Carols” in season 2? Stay tuned for further information…

Here’s Reedus’ full interview with American Rider, along with his comments on the third season of “Daryl Dixon,” starting around the 2:40 mark in the video below:

During the first season of AMC and AMC+ The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, Daryl (Reedus) is washed ashore in France and tries to piece together how he got there and why. The series follows his journey through a broken but resilient France where he hopes to find his way back home. However, during his journey, the connections he makes along the way complicate his final plan.

The new season picks up where the first left off, with Daryl and Carol facing old demons as she struggles to find a friend and he struggles with the decision to stay in France, causing tension within Nest. Additionally, Genet (Anna Charrier) movement is gaining momentum, putting Pouvoir on a brutal collision course with the Union of Hope in the fight for the future of France.

The second season features Reedus, McBride, Charrier, Clémence Poésy, Louis Puech Scigliuzzi, Laika Blanc Francard, Romain Levi & Erik Ebouaney. We found out in November 2023 Manish Dayal (Inhabitant) was cast as Ash, an engineer from Boston who moved to his family’s weekend home in Maine after the apocalypse. Ash lives on a strict schedule, based mainly on daily flights in a modernized single-engine plane and mysterious visits to his backyard greenhouse.
