The Islamic Resistance Movement in Iraq has announced that it has carried out an operation against a key target in the Israeli-occupied port of Haifa using drones.

This comes “as we continue our path of resisting the occupation, supporting our people in Palestine, and in response to the massacres committed by the usurper against the Palestinian civilian population, including children, women and the elderly.”

Regarding the impact of Iraqi operations against the Israeli occupation, Israeli media on Monday published new details about a drone attack carried out by the Islamic Resistance Movement in Iraq on an Israeli naval base in Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat) more than two months after the attack.

Amir Bohbot, military correspondent for the Israeli website Wallasaid details released so far indicate that a drone launched from Iraq in late March struck a naval base in Eilat and landed near a Sa’ar 6-class corvette.

A military correspondent stated that just a day after the explosion of a suspicious object in the Eilat area, information was allowed to be published that a drone launched from Iraq had hit a naval base in the area, causing destruction.

He noted that the Islamic Resistance Movement in Iraq issued a statement on the same day claiming responsibility for the attack on the Eilat target.

The Wala! The news outlet laments the precision hit resulting from the Iraqi drone attack, even though the Israeli missile boat is equipped with the Barak-1 automated weapon system, which has a 100% ability to hit the target. He pointed out that the failure of the Israeli Navy and Air Force to intercept the drone was met with criticism within the Israeli military.
