A Galesburg man is dead after a crash in Knox County

KNOX COUNTY (News 25) – A Galesburg man is dead following a single-vehicle crash in Knox County.

The Knox County Sheriff’s Office says an 85-year-old man was driving east on Knox Highway 23 at Knox Rd. 50 E., exiting the road on the south side of the highway.

The accident occurred on Monday at 5:40 p.m.

The victim’s name has not yet been released, pending notification of next of kin.
