HC Morris says Bijan Robinson will be used heavily in the Falcons offense

Atlanta Falcons second-year running back Bijan Robinson was already expected to be one of fantasy football managers’ top targets this year, but a recent comment from new head coach Raheem Morris will be music to their ears.

Per Marc Raimondi of ESPN, Morris said Tuesday that you can expect a heavy dose of Robinson this season because he will be the focal point of the Falcons’ offense:

The No. 8 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft last year, Robinson appeared in all 17 games and recorded 214 carries for 976 yards and four touchdowns and also added 58 receptions for 487 yards and four more scores.

Despite his solid numbers, fans believed that Robinson could have achieved even more if former head coach Arthur Smith had really given him his all. It looks like he’ll get that chance with Morris calling the shots.

Robinson will also benefit from the presence of veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins, who signed with the Falcons in the offseason after playing for the Minnesota Vikings for the past six seasons. Atlanta’s offense is expected to take a major leap this year with the four-time Pro Bowler under center.

It’s safe to say that Robinson should become a target early in the first round of the 2024 fantasy football draft.
