The following contains Hollyoaks spoilers for Tuesday’s (June 11) episode, which is now available to stream on Channel 4. The episode in question will air on E4 on Wednesday, June 12 at 7pm.

Kitty Draper (Iz Hesketh) and Beau Ramsey (Jon-Paul Bell) have something serious explains what to do after Freddie Roscoe (Charlie Clapham) catches them disposing of a body.

The duo, as viewers know, were responsible for the death of aggressive conversion therapist Declan Hawthorne (Alan Turkington).

Declan, who was Kitty’s father, kidnapped his daughter earlier this year and tied her to a bed in a remote cottage. Back in the village, Beau became concerned about Kitty’s whereabouts and, after some detective work, tracked her to the cottage in question.

However, before he could get her to safety, Declan returned and attacked Beau, who hit him with his prayer book in retaliation. Declan fell, hitting his head on the edge of the bed, and Kitty pronounced him dead.

Both he and Kitty decided to remain silent, but in the following weeks Beau was consumed with guilt to the point that Kitty decided to go to the police and turn herself in.

Beau was adamant that this was not the right path, so the two decided to once again remain silent and try to move on with their lives.

However, when John Paul McQueen (James Sutton) came dangerously close to finding out what they had done, Kitty and Beau were forced to return to the cottage and move Declan’s body.

Doing so proved extremely traumatic for both of them, as they returned to the village with Declan’s body in the backseat of the car, not knowing where to put it. But Kitty found a solution.

Subsequent scenes confirmed that the couple had buried the body in Hunter McQueen’s (Theo Graham) grave. The day in question was Hunter’s funeral. The teacher – a much-loved colleague of Beau’s – died last month after a suspected drug shipment arrived at The Loft.

Kitty and Beau, covered in dirt, broke down, believing their ordeal was over. But this might just be the beginning, and soon after, Freddie stumbled upon the two and demanded to know what they were doing.

Has the murder mystery been revealed? Or maybe Kitty will convince Freddie to keep quiet? These two were previously connected, so surely Freddie will protect her?

Or will his desire to be a better parent to Lexi make him decide to tell the police?

Hollyoaks streams weekdays at 7.30pm on the Channel 4 streaming platform or watch episodes on TV at 7pm on E4.
