Three men charged in connection with Weston’s stabbing

Billy Lane, 23, from Ealing, appeared at Taunton Magistrates Court on Tuesday, June 11, along with Nathan Smith, 33, and Kyle Nutley, 53, from Weston-super-Mare.

Lane was remanded in custody and both Smith and Nutley were released on conditional bail pending further hearings.

The charges relate to an incident on Alexandra Parade on Sunday just before 9pm, in which a man suffered non-life-threatening stab wounds.

No further action will be taken against a fourth man, 28, who was also arrested following the incident.
