THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY COMPILED A TIMELINE OF EVENTS AT SKIPPERS TRACE AND REVEALED THAT A GUN WAS FIRED DURING A FIGHT BETWEEN MILITARY VETERAN ANDREW KAIDO AND A DEPUTY. NOW A LONG TIME AGO, KAIDO APPEARED VIRTUALLY IN COURT, STAYING MOSTLY SILENT, EXCEPT FOR ONE OUTPURPOSE. BUT THE MOST SURPRISING WAS THE SCHEDULE OF EVENTS. THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY SAID KAIDO CALLED 9111 AND WHEN ASKED WHY HE NEEDED POINTS AT HIS HOUSE, HE SAID, QUOTE, WHEN THEY GET HERE THEY WILL FIND OUT, END OF QUOTE. BUT BETWEEN THIS CALL AND THE ARRIVAL OF THE ARRIVERS, THE EYE ALSO STATES, KATO’S WIFE CALLED 911, APPARENTLY THEY ARE AFRAID OF HIM. SHORTLY AFTER DEPUTY ARRIVAL, OKO SAID HE BECAME COMBAT WHEN THE DEPUTY RAISE HER RIFLE AND GIVEN COMMANDS TO THE 54-YEAR-OLD. HE CALLED THE MEMBERS DEVILS AND SAID: QUOTE, WHAT WILL YOU DO? WILL YOU KILL GOD? FINAL QUOTE. He allegedly threw a drink at the deputies and tried to fight them. AT THIS POINT. BODY WORN CAMERA shows the person reaching around the deputy and placing his hands on Five Five, Six’s rifle. At this point, the gun goes off and actually shoots the deputy. NEXT TO THE DEPUTY WITH A RIFLE, HE SHOTS DEPUTY BRANNEN IN THE LEG. IT WAS A COMPLETE WOUND. Um, at this point, sir. KATO HAS BEEN SECURED AND WE ARE HERE TODAY. IF Convicted, the 54-year-old could spend nearly 40 years in prison.
