The chase for a Gwinnett transit bus comes to an end and the passengers exit

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Police chased a transit bus in Gwinnett County during a pursuit that began Tuesday afternoon on I-85.

During the chase, the bus hit several vehicles.

Atlanta police said they responded to 45 Ivan Allen Junior Boulevard NE regarding a dispute involving a transit bus in Gwinnett County. Police said that when they arrived at the scene, the bus had left. Police said they were working to stop the bus.

LATEST UPDATES:

• The bus is now heading south on Jimmy Carter Boulevard.
• First Alert Chopper recorded that the Georgia State Patrol is now involved in the pursuit of the bus.
• The bus passed the Lawrenceville Highway crossing and continued south on Jimmy Carter Boulevard.
• The bus is now on the wrong side of national road No. 8.
• The bus continued on Hugh Howell Road.
• The bus stopped and many people got off.
