A man is dead after a farming incident

BOTKINS, Ohio (WDTN) – A man is dead after a farm accident on Sunday, June 9.


According to the Botkins Police Department, after the incident was reported, crews responded to the 15000 block of County Road 25A.

After an investigation, the crew determined that the man had been fatally injured while baling hay in a field.

The man was identified as 38-year-old Craig Barhorst of Shelby County.

Botkins Police were assisted by the Botkins Fire Department, Anna Rescue and the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office.
