The woman attacked several people; man shot in car, homes in Charlotte neighborhood

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are investigating after a woman allegedly attacked several people, including children, and a man shot at a car and two homes Monday night in a north Charlotte neighborhood.

Police said 12 people, including seven minors, were attacked and a 32-year-old man was shot between 7 p.m. and 7:20 p.m. — along the 5900 block of Red Vest Way.

Police reports indicate that the woman attacked multiple people with a blunt object.
