One person has died in a multi-vehicle crash in Franklin

Franklin police are investigating a multi-vehicle crash that killed one person Monday night. The police came to W. St. Martins Road, near W. Puetz Road, south of W. Loomis Road, around 9:20 p.m., Monday. Police say 84-year-old Franklin died at the scene. A 12 News photojournalist says police focused their investigation on the lawnmower, which appeared to be damaged. Officers said the drivers involved in the crash remained on scene and are cooperating with the investigation. The investigation is ongoing and police have not released any other information at this time.
