YouTube sensation Ben Potter, known to his three million subscribers as Comicstorian, died at the age of 40 on June 8, 2024, his wife Nathalie confirmed in a statement on X (formerly Twitter). Nathalie described his death as an “unhappy accident” without providing further details.

Ben rose to prominence on his Comicstorian channel, where he narrated comic book radio plays, delving into the intricate worlds of the Marvel and DC Universe. His engaging storytelling style has won praise from fans around the world.

“For many of you, he was a comic book artist, telling stories from many different media. To those closest to him, he was one of the best and most supportive people you could ask for,” said Nathalie, expressing the profound impact Ben had on both his listeners and those closest to him.

Describing him as a loving husband, son, brother and friend, Nathalie recalled Ben’s unwavering support and contagious humor. She highlighted his role as a pillar of strength for his loved ones and highlighted his ability to bring joy to others.
