Man dies in agricultural accident in Shelby County – WHIO TV 7 and WHIO Radio

SHELBY COUNTY – A man is dead after a reported farm accident south of Botkins on Sunday.

According to Botkins Police Chief Mark Jordan, police and emergency crews were called to the 15800 block of County Road 25A for a report of an agricultural accident in a field.

Craig Barhorst, 38, had an accident while baling hay in a field.

Jordan confirmed that Barhosrt died from his injuries.

The incident remains under investigation.
