Terrifying yacht accident in Dubai – 20-year-old woman fighting for life with ‘liver wounds’

A young woman from Carlow, Ireland, was seriously injured in Dubai after falling from two floors of a yacht.

After Sunday’s accident, Tasha Keane, aged in her 20s, was immediately taken to a hospital in Dubai. She suffered “serious head trauma and liver damage.”

Tasha lives and works in the United Arab Emirates.

Her sister Roisin said Tasha was “fighting hard to recover. He is currently under surveillance. Tasha is a strong and full of life person. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.”

Roisin also revealed: “Treatment bills have risen to €10,000 and are expected to rise even more. We believe that with your support she will be able to overcome this difficult period. Our family is doing everything we can, but we need your help to ensure Tasha receives the care she needs.” – reports the Irish Mirror.

The family is asking for donations to cover Tasha’s medical expenses in Dubai.

The Department of Foreign Affairs said it was “aware of the accident” and was ready to offer consular assistance if needed.
