LPD says the suspect was charged with firing a gun during a chase after a bank robbery

LAREDO, Texas (KGNS) – Laredo police have released new details about a recent bank robbery. Adrian Hernandez, 41, was charged with robbery and evading arrest.

During the pursuit, a police officer fired a shot, but no one was injured. The investigation is ongoing.

There was also a crash on Clark Street during the chase. More charges may emerge as the case develops.

Police Chief Rodriguez will speak about the robbery and events at a press conference on Tuesday, June 11 at 12:45 p.m. The conference will be broadcast live from the LPD headquarters.
