A woman was killed and two people were injured in a car crash on I-95 in Brevard County

BREVARD COUNTY, FL – A woman was killed and two other people were injured, including an infant, in a single-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon in Brevard County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers said the crash happened around 12:45 a.m. on Interstate 95 at mile marker 202 in Cocoa.

According to the accident report, a Toyota Camry traveling north on I-95 lost control and left the roadway.

According to FHP, the vehicle then struck a utility pole and then rolled over several times.

Troopers said the front passenger, identified only as an adult female, was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Two rear passengers, including a child, were taken to hospital with serious injuries, but in a later update the child’s condition was listed as stable.

The report shows that the driver and right rear passenger were not injured.

Troopers said the northbound outside lane of I-95 is currently blocked.

The investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
