A man from Salmo dies in a single-car accident

A 43-year-old man from Salmo died on June 8 in a single-vehicle accident near the village.

The crash occurred near the Second Relief Road bridge, according to an RCMP news release, which said the man appeared to have lost control of the vehicle before it crashed into the bridge barricades.

RCMP and the BC Coroner’s Service continue to investigate the cause.
